DURATION:

The duration of a student internship is dependent upon the needs of the department of which the intern is assigned.  However, at no time shall the duration of a student internship exceed a seven (7) month period.  Students who complete an internship period may reapply for future internships.  The City of Alachua reserves the right to terminate the internship at any time.

Undergraduate interns will be compensated at a rate of $10.00 per hour.  Graduate interns will be compensated at a rate of $12.00 per hour.  Internship positions may become available that do not provide compensation.
